David “MEGGS” Hooke is one of Australia’s most progressive and committed artists. He’s from Melbourne, where he completed his Bachelor in design at the Swinburne University school of Design. He’s one of the founder of the Everfresh crew; a unique collective of street artists that opened the Everfresh studio in 2004. MEGGS is known for his unique and very expressive style filled with references to pop-culture, natural world and socio-cultural issues. He employs a very technical approach for colors and movements by using bold and illustrative elements, with an intuitive and free-flowing twist. He has traveled the world and collaborated with many non-profit organizations like Fareshare or Pangeaseed. He also worked with many companies such as Nike, Stussy, New Balance or Burton.
